Corinne Bennett grew up in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, and began her musical studies at the age of seven. She is currently completing her Masters of Music Performance at Brooklyn College under the guidance of Jesse Mills.

As a violinist, Corinne performs throughout New York in both classical and non-traditional settings. She has been a two-time scholarship recipient for the DeCoda / Skidmore Chamber Music Institute, hosted by Carnegie Hall´s Affiliate Ensemble. She also performs regularly with the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra, the orchestra-in-residence at the Brooklyn Museum.

Corinne has studied Suzuki philosophy in Falls Church, Pittsburgh, Austin, and Hartford under the tutelage of master teachers such as Rhonda Cole, Marilyn O´Boyle, Susan Baer, and James Hutchins.

Corinne maintains a robust private Suzuki violin studio and also teaches with Brooklyn Youth Music Project, Kelly Howard Studio, and Brooklyn College´s Preparatory Center for the Performing Arts.
