Corinne Bennett grew up in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, and began her musical studies at the age of seven. She has studied Suzuki philosophy in Falls Church, Pittsburgh, Austin and Hartford. Corinne has refined her teaching technique under the guidance of master teachers such as Rhonda Cole, Marilyn O´Boyle, Susan Baer & James Hutchins.

Corinne believes that learning music is a very important part of child development and strives to connect each child and parent together through this wonderful experience. Students in Corinne´s studio are expected to attend lessons weekly as well as to complete daily practice at home.

Corinne plays regularly with the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra, which performs at the Brooklyn Museum throughout the year and has put on community concerts in Brooklyn. The concerts and family friendly and she encourages all her students to attend.

Corinne has been teaching for four years at a prominent studio in Brooklyn and is on the Faculty of the BYMP Summer Camp. She is also a substitute instructor at the Brooklyn College Preparatory Center for the Performing Arts.
