Corinne Bennett grew up in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, and began her musical studies with the Suzuki method at age seven. She holds a M.M in Violin Performance from Brooklyn College, where she studied with Professor Jessie Mills of the Horszowski Trio. During her time at Brooklyn College Corinne served as Concertmaster and Principle Second with the Brooklyn Conservatory Orchestra. She has attended the Decoda Chamber Music Festival and the Maine Chamber Music Seminar and has received training from members of Argus Quartet, Attacca Quartet, Spektral Quartet, and the NOW Ensemble. She currently freelances in New York City and performs regularly with the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra.

Corinne has been teaching Suzuki violin for the past seven years and maintains a private studio in South Brooklyn. Her students attend weekly private and group classes, and participate in two recitals annually. She also offers annual parent-education gatherings. Corinne has also been on faculty of the Brooklyn Youth Music Project, the Brooklyn College Preparatory Center, and the Kelly Howard Studio. Corinne received her Suzuki certifications in Falls Church, Pittsburgh, Austin, and Hartford with master teachers such as Rhonda Cole, Marilyn O´Boyle, Susan Baer, and James Hutchins.
