Connor Bell came to Austin to pursue his undergraduate degree in music education. Connor is currently a faculty member of Austin Suzuki Music School where he teaches violin and viola privately and as well as group classes.

Connor Bell received his Bachelor of Music in Music Studies and teacher certification in Music Early Childhood-12th grade at the University of Texas at Austin Butler School of Music. While at the Butler School of Music Connor performed in ensembles and taught in the UT String Project. The UT String Project gave Mr. Bell the opportunity to conduct orchestras, lead sectional rehearsals, teach music theory, and give private lessons to students of all ages. He currently maintains a full private studio of violin and viola students, helps organize the Greater Austin Suzuki Institute and performs regularly with the Central Texas Philharmonic. Connor also taught public school orchestra at Deerpark Middle School in Round Rock ISD from 2012-2021. He worked with 6-8th grade violin, viola, cello, bass and harp students using Suzuki in the Schools. Mr. Bell has served as guest clinician for Manor ISD’s String Fest, Greater Austin Suzuki Institute, Longhorn Music Camp, and Parker Elementary.

Mr. Bell is currently holds Suzuki certification in all 10 Suzuki Violin Books. He also received training in the first stage of the Early Childhood Education class. In addition, Mr. Bell continually goes to enrichment courses to develop and expand his teaching.

Mr. Bell is an active member of The Suzuki Association of the Americas, The Texas Music Educators Association, Greater Austin Suzuki Association and The North Texas Suzuki Association.
