Collette has been playing the violin since she was 6 years old and has always seen it as a revolutionary part of her life. She studied under teachers such as Angie Horman, Jack Ashton, and Robert Waters and spent time in musical groups like the Utah Youth Symphony and Young Artist Chamber Players in Salt Lake City and the Utah State Symphony Orchestra and various quartet groups in Logan, Utah.

She recently graduated from Utah State University with bachelor’s degrees in Violin Performance and Business Administration. She completed an honors capstone project on Arts Entrepreneurship, and has a passion for helping musicians and artists find a way to create careers out of their art-making. At Utah State University, she studied under the direction of Robert Waters and the Fry Street Quartet in solo performance, chamber music, and symphony orchestra music. 

Collette teachers beginners through early advanced students in the Suzuki Method ages 4 and up and is a certified Suzuki teacher in Book 1 and Every Child Can!. She teaches violin and viola.I grew up in Salt Lake City in a family that was filled with music. From an early age I began studying violin and studied with a member of the Utah Symphony throughout high school.
