I started actively applying the Suzuki method in my piano teaching since 2012 working through Toledo Symphony School of Music. Renee Goubeaux (cello), Robert Richardson Jr. (violin), and Pamela Devenport (cello) have been my inspiration for Suzuki teaching. I studied piano performance at University of Connecticut (MM, ABD), and ethnomusicology (MA) at Bowling Green State University. Having always been interested in performative and social aspect of music, I am currently pursuing Ph. D in Theater/ Performance Studies at BGSU. Through my teaching and studying I hope to find the ways to make music learning and performing alive in our daily life and relevant to our society.
