I started teaching piano actively applying the Suzuki method since 2012 at Toledo Symphony School of Music. Renee Goubeaux (cello), Robert Richardson Jr. (violin), and Pamela Devenport (cello) have been my biggest inspiration in Suzuki teaching. I studied piano performance at University of Connecticut (MA, ABD), and ethnomusicology (MA) at Bowling Green State University. Having always been interested in performance aspect of music, I am currently pursuing Ph. D in Theater/ Performance Studies at BGSU. Through my teaching and studying I hope to find the ways to make music learning and performing more fun and alive in our everyday life.
