Charlotte Christie is an accomplished strings teacher and performer, dedicated to nurturing a love for music in all of her students. With a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Thomas Edison State College and a Master’s degree in violin performance from the West Virginia University School of Music, she brings a strong educational foundation to her teaching practice.

Having discovered her passion for teaching early on during her music studies, Ms. Christie holds a Level 4 certification as a Suzuki violin and viola instructor. She specializes in teaching students ranging from 4 years old through high school, providing them with a solid musical foundation and a lifelong appreciation for strings instruments.

Ms. Christie’s teaching experience includes serving as an orchestra director at Moorestown Friends’ School and a violin coach for Symphony in C youth symphony. Alongside her teaching commitments, she has actively pursued a successful career in chamber music and orchestral playing.

Driven by her love for introducing beginners to the world of violin and viola, Ms. Christie finds great joy in guiding her students at every stage of their musical journey. Her teaching approach focuses on developing solid technique, fostering enjoyment in playing, and building confidence in performing.

With her expertise and commitment to music education, Ms. Christie creates a supportive and engaging learning environment, empowering students to explore their musical abilities and reach their full potential.
