Casey Mink enjoys balancing his love for violin playing and teaching. He is a member of the Rock Hill Symphony Orchestra, the Westminster Presbyterian contemporary music team and the special events music ensemble Dean’s Duets. He taught violin and viola to students of all ages with Virginia Tech’s Fine Arts Initiative before venturing to begin his own Suzuki violin program in South Carolina, which he currently directs. Casey holds a Bachelor’s degree in music performance from the University of North Florida and Master’s degree in music performance from Bowling Green State University and is a registered teacher with the SAA. Besides freelancing and working with children, Casey’s interests include fly-fishing, tennis, literature, and travel. He plays on a violin by Robert Brode and a bow by Claude Thomassin.
