Mrs. Carla Loayza

Carla Loayza , started to play violin at four and a half years old , at the Studio of Miss Sara Benitez , a Suzuki teacher whom has taught many generations of children in Trujillo,LIma in Peru and in Santiago de Chile in Chile.
Mrs.Loayza entered at nine years old at the Conservatorio Regional del Norte “Carlos Valderrama”,where studied violin with several violin teacher such as Mr. Francisco Pereda, Miss Ana María Ezaine , and Mr. Jorge Váscones .Mr . Váscones encouraged her and other students to play at his youth orchestra “Antonio Vivaldi” and also to become a soloist in his orchestra ,becoming soloist at the Orquesta Sinfónica de Trujillo and the Orquesta Nacional del Perú playing the Concerto for four violin in B minor of Antonio Vivaldi.
Many years later , entered to Conservatorio Nacional de Música and studied with Mr. Alejandro Ferreyra ;Mr. Ferreyra whom was the chief of strings department and whom impulse violin Sylabus ,National contests for Violin and gave Seminars to other Violin teachers around Perú. Being a student participated and had won different prizes, such as National violin Contest 2000,2001,2003 and also won twice the Young Solist at the National Symphony Orchestra , playing Romance in F Major from L. Van Beethoven and Concerto for vioin nº5 in A Major from W. A. Mozart.

Mrs. Loayza have a Bachelor and Peruvian Licenciatura as Pedagogia de la Interpretación del Violin by the Universidad Nacional de Música and also a Degree of Professional Violinist given by Conservatorio Nacional de Música.

She has conducted Seminars and Workshops about the Formation of Children and Youth Orchestras, as well as Orchestral Conducting. She develops an intense work of musical education at all levels and has taken Kodaly courses , Early Childhood Stimulation ,Dalcroze course and others courses to complement music education knowledgments at Suzuki Festival.

Mrs. Loayza loves to play and enjoy teaching :violin , viola, some of cello , recorder and Orff groups .
