Betty Braunstein
I am a freelance flutist living in Ashland, Wisconsin. I have performed regularly with the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra and have over 30 years experience teaching flute and piccolo. I also enjoy planning and providing music for weddings, concert series, and other special events.

I have taught at Northland College (Ashland, WI) and the University of Minnesota (Duluth). I also welcome students of all abilities to my home studio in Ashland. In spring, you can find me coaching adult musicians at the Woodland Chamber Music Workshop in Tofte, Minnesota.

My discography includes “A Christmas Ceremony” written for me and cellist Josh Aerie by Cincinnati-based composer Rick Sowash.
