Mrs. Bethany VanLeer

The oldest of several children, my mom was looking to carve out some time during the week that she could spend with just me. She heard about the Suzuki method and started me with violin lessons with a Suzuki teacher when I was four years old. I’ve been playing violin ever since, and participated in community and college level chamber orchestras through the years. I’ve also enjoyed playing in a quartet with my younger siblings and I still play for weddings and church events. I am passionate about teaching beginning students as they are just embarking on an exciting journey of music appreciation!
