Mrs. Beth Eckert

Eckert Suzuki Music was established in 2013 by Beth, Robin, and Elizabeth Eckert. ESM provides outstanding Suzuki instruction for piano and violin. For the previous 20 years, Beth taught Suzuki Piano at The Levine School of Music in Washington, DC. Prior to that, Beth was Director of The Music Academy of Rhodes College in Memphis, where she also founded the Academy’s Suzuki Piano Department.

“The Suzuki Philosophy has shaped my life. I am inspired and energized by the students and parents, and enjoy the musical adventure we share. It is my great fortune to have also served as a “Suzuki mom” – one daughter is a pianist, the other a violinist. The three of us teach together now as Eckert Suzuki Music.”

Beth received a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from Rhodes College and a Master of Music from The University of Memphis, where she also completed all levels of Suzuki Piano training.
