Autumn Pepper has been a part of the Colorado teaching scene since 2016, but she started teaching private students when she was 14. A native of Arizona, she first moved here in 2013 to pursue her undergraduate degree in violin performance at the University of Denver under the instruction of Mark Rush. She discovered her love of Colorado and stayed in the area to pursue her master’s degree at the University of Colorado, Boulder, with Harumi Rhodes and Claude Sim. She is certified to teach Suzuki books 1-8 under the training of Kathleen Spring and has now found herself the director of the Suzuki non-profit school, Primavera Place. Primavera Place offers primarily violin lessons to children age 3-18, group classes, recitals, and Suzuki Early Childhood Education. The advanced performance group, Spring Strings, performs concerts around town.
