Annie began playing Suzuki violin at the age of 4 and it has been a huge part of her life ever since, through years of classical training, to Klezmer and world fusion music projects with her family, and now through her own Suzuki teaching. Annie grew up here in Denver, attending Denver School of the Arts for middle through high school and playing with the Denver Young Artists Orchestra as well as attending various international summer music programs. She received her BA from Scripps College in California, where she studied with Rachel Huang and played in multiple chamber ensembles as well as serving as Concertmaster and Associate Concertmaster of the Claremont Colleges Orchestra. In 2014 she returned to Denver to pursue art and music and establish a private studio.

Annie says: “I thank my early years of Suzuki lessons for laying such a solid foundation for musical skills as well as life learning skills, and I love that I now get to share that with my students and Suzuki families.”
