I began the violin at age 8 after seeing someone at school play the Twinkle Variations for Show-and-Tell. I studied the violin with John Loutensock and Judy Rich and received a music scholarship to the University of Utah. I have studied the Suzuki method with Ed Kreitman, Judy Bossuat, Linda Fiore, and Pat D’Ercole. I have had a private studio since the year 2000. I am a member of the Suzuki Association of Utah, where I currently sit on the Executive Board as the Membership Secretary. I have been on the board for 7 years. I am also a member of the Utah Federation of Music. I have students who are Concert Master’s in youth orchestras, who receive superior ratings at state solo competitions, and who have been selected as soloist with local orchestra’s here in the community. I have 3 children, one who is violinist and one who is a cellist. I live in the Holladay/Murray area of the Salt Lake Valley.
