Anne Schreiber, originally from Appleton, Wisconsin, recently moved to Flagstaff to pursue her master’s degree in Suzuki Pedagogy at Northern Arizona University studying under Dr. Louise Scott. She began studying piano through the Yamaha program when she was four years old and began playing violin at the age of seven. In May of 2019, Anne received her bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire studying under Nobuyoshi Yasuda. She participated in the International Music Festival of the Adriatic in Duino, Italy over the summer of 2017. Anne has enjoyed teaching violin lessons, playing for churches, and being the violin sectional coach of the Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony over her years in Eau Claire. She currently is a part of the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra and teaches violin lessons at the NAU Community Dance & Music Academy. In her free time, she enjoys running and hiking on trails and competing in triathlons.
