I began my journey to become a professional violinist and teacher with playing the violin at 11 years old. Ever since then, music has played a huge role in my life and has shaped who I am now. I recently moved to Fredericksburg, VA, but teach in both Stafford and Fredericksburg. I received my Bachelor of Music in violin performance from James Madison University in May, 2016, studying classically under Dr. Wanchi Huang and Dr. Dina Nesterenko. Before pursuing my Masters Degree, I also studied with Diana LeGrand, a fabulous teacher and performer in Alexandria, VA. A few years later, I received my Masters Degree in violin performance from George Mason University in May, 2020, studying under Professor June Huang.

I have been teaching privately since 2016, and have been the Group Strings Instructor at St. William of York Catholic School since 2019. In that time, I have grown to truly love teaching students of all ages and abilities! While focusing on technical skills and musicianship, I also encourage inner growth and self-discovery. I recently founded a new summer orchestra program in Fredericksburg called All Strings Attached! It is an all-strings summer program designed for skilled violin, viola, cello, and bass players of all ages to create fabulous music together!
