Anna Morris has always had an intense passion for music and loves sharing her joy of music through teaching and performing. She graduated summa cum lauda with a B.A in Violin Performance from Humboldt State University (2006), and from the University of Denver’s Lamont School of music with a  Master’s degree in Suzuki Violin Pedagogy (2008), and a Certificate in Orchestral Studies in Violin (2009).

Currently based out of Denver Colorado, she teaches Violin and Viola with Boulder Suzuki Strings and is 2nd Violinist with the classical-rock fusion string quartet “Spinphony.” Anna has always had a penchant for travel and has been exceptionally lucky to get to travel through her music, including Boulder Suzuki Strings Costa Rica Tour 2016 and 2018, Opera festivals in Italy in 2009, 2011, 2012, as well as Iceland, Mexico, Hawaii and almost every state in the continental US for Spinphony performances. She performed the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D with the Eureka Symphony, and has also shared the stage with 2Cellos, Josh Groban, Evanescence, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Il Volo, and made her Red Rocks Amphitheatre debut August 2017 with Spinphony, opening for FACE vocal band.

Morris has also played for a number of recordings, including “Dreams Go Through me” with the Playground Ensemble, “Divergence” with the Sphere Ensemble, EP “Pop-Baroque” and full-length CDs “Toccatastruck, ”Hotel Mozart” and “Spinphony Greetings” with Spinphony. She is currently in the process of writing and arranging music for another CD with Spinphony, expected May 2020.
