Mrs. Ann Z. Grosshans
Mrs. Grosshans has been a Suzuki violin teacher for over 25 years and has also taught orchestra in the public school system for 20 years. She has a Music Education degree from Trinity University in San Antonio where she studied with Dominick Saltarelli and has attended many Suzuki camps in order to complete her Suzuki training. Not only has she been a Suzuki teacher, she is also a Suzuki mom.
Mrs. Grosshans began playing at an early age studying violin with Doris Welborn and William Kirshke and piano with Margaret Donahue and Andrew Mihalso.
Her students have participated in All- Region Orchestras, Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra, Dallas Asian Youth Orchestra and All State. Her students have received college scholarships as both music majors and non- majors. She is most happy when former adult students call to tell her they still love playing their instrument.
She is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas and Texas Music Teachers Association.
Mrs. Grosshans enjoys students of all ages and is now accepting students from Plano, Allen, Frisco and McKinney in her studio.
