Viola, Violin Teacher
Andrew enjoys working with students who want to improve their performance skills in Violin and Viola. He earned his Bachelors of Music in Viola Performance at the University of Missouri, Columbia with significant secondary study in violin. Andrew also did post-graduate studies at The Boston Conservatory with Rictor Noren. While working with Professor Noren, Andrew learned the art of articulating pedagogy concepts to the highest caliber, so that they would then be transcended into his students.
Having taught years of private music lessons in viola, Andrew also developed an interest playing and teaching the violin. Besides teaching private lessons, he is also certified as a group music instructor through the Missouri String Project, an after-school program for Columbia’s third through fifth graders.
Outside of music, Andrew is also active in all avenues regarding health and wellness, and how important the mind-body connection is to playing music. Andrew is currently studying to be a fitness instructor part-time while he is also teaching vigorous music lessons. His ideal philosophy is all about promoting the highest level of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual growth. See for yourself!
