Facilitating the cognitive and emotional growth of a child is the most important and rewarding aspect of my work. I am a certified teacher with a current teaching license in the state of Arizona. I have taught piano for 18 years. I graduated with a B.A. in Spanish Education and have completed over 30 university credits in the area of music. As a child, I took piano lessons for 12 years as a child and I have continued my music education ever since. I have completed university level Piano Pedagogy, Private Piano, Music Theory I, Music Theory II, Music History, Piano Literature, Piano Artistry, Keyboard Techniques, Keyboard Fundamentals, Private voice, and Choir. I also completed 5 years of university private voice training. My degree, experience in education, and university level music preparation give me the tools to help your child receive an excellent education in piano or voice. I regularly participate in professional development including the teacher training and summer institutes for the Suzuki method.
