Professor of violin/viola at the Child Citizen Orchestra Project, occupying the position of education coordinator and assistant conductor from 2008-2010. Ms. Lima was born in Recife (State of Pernambuco/Brazil). She began her musical studies at age 15—and violin at 16, under the guidance of Professor Hugo Tagliavini. At 20, she entered the Federal University of Pernambuco, in the class of Professor Consuelo Froehner.
In 1996, Aline Lima studied viola at the Federal University of Paraíba, in the class of Professor Samuel Espinosa. In the same year, she began to deepen the study of the Suzuki Method with Professor Takeshi Kobayashi. She participated in several courses: the 14th International Summer Course of Brasilia, the 27th Winter Festival of Campos do Jordão, the Course on Baroque Viola and Chamber Music, taught by Professor Luiz Henrique Fiamingui, the 4th Meeting of Ancient Music Olinda/Recife, the 11th International Festival of Brazilian Colonial Music and Early Music, in Juiz de Fora/MG, in the class of Professor Luiz Otavio Souza Santos.
She joined the Youth Orchestra of the Pernambuco Conservatory of Music (CPM), under the direction of Maestro Benny Wolkoff; the Music Baroque Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Homero de Magalhaes Filho, Recife/PE; and the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Paraiba, under the baton of Maestro Luiz Carlos Durier. Ms. Lima also joined, as a violist, the North Northeast Philharmonic Orchestra, under the guidance of Maestro Aylton Escobar; the Armorial Camerata, conducted by Professor Rafael Garcia; the Chamber Orchestra of the CPM, under the baton of Maestro Sergio Nilsen Barza and Jose Renato Accioly. She participated, as a violist, in the Brazilian Tour of the Amherst College Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Lanfranco Marcelletti.
Teaches at the Conservatory of Music of Pernambuco since 2012.
Ananias Aline de Lima is a Master of Arts in Music by the Campbellsvile University,USA. She has a specialization course in Neuroscience and Neuroeducation at Campos Elísios College—SP, is a student of the specialization course in Neuroscience at the Federal University of Pernambuco.
