Teaching and performing throughout Oklahoma and abroad since 2010, Ali Soltani has crafted and honed his skills as an educator and performer for years in order to serve his community. With experience as a soloist for local and international events on multiple instruments including violin, viola, and oud, he uses his vast knowledge of Classical and World music and music education to craft lessons that fit each student’s individual needs.

Soltani is a traditionally and Suzuki trained music educator and registered educator through the Suzuki Association of the Americas. He often uses a balanced hybrid of the two styles in his teachings. With training in violin, viola, oud, percussion, piano, guitar, composition, Kindermusik, and music & video production, Soltani takes a holistic approach to lessons working to incorporate and emphasize posture, composition, theory, practice, the learning process, and so much more. He has been a featured instructor and speaker for classrooms and forums locally and abroad.

Ali Soltani has worked in the Oklahoma school system with students in groups and one-on-one since 2010. Having such a close relationship with teachers and their students, he knows the ins and outs of the music education system in Oklahoma.

Everyone is welcome in Soltani’s music studio. From 3 year olds to retirees. From beginners to advanced level students. He has taught them all. Soltani regularly maintains an active studio of 80-100 students.

As an educator, he established the Suzuki Strings program in Oklahoma City that ran from 2014-2016. In two year, the program provided lessons and classes for violin, viola, cello, guitar, piano, and Kindermusik for over 200 different students and families ranging from 6 month olds to retirees. A key emphasis of the program was community service. Students and teachers provided monthly performances for various community groups and events. Soltani raised over $4,000 in scholarships for the program to provide lessons and classes to families in need. Soltani also designed and created EveryoneStrings.com, a revolutionary online music education platform.

A former violinist and violist for the Tulsa Symphony and Fort Smith Symphony, Soltani now focuses his full attention on teaching. He lives and teaches alongside his wife and three children in Edmond where they have a family-focused approach to life.IHN 9407648-102-973
