Thank you for your interest in my violin studio!

My name is Alexa Holland and I have been playing the violin for over 20 years. I started at the age of 4 and the Suzuki program has been a big part of my life ever since. I know from personal experience what a positive and lasting impact Suzuki can have in the life of a child!

As a student I studied with Jeanne Grover and Karen Child. I participated annually in the Intermountain Suzuki String Institute and spent time as a first violinist in the Utah Youth Symphony. I was fortunate to complete my teacher training with Judy Bossuat-Gallic and Jeanne Grover.

My goal as a teacher is to help my students develop a love and appreciation for music. I know that the Suzuki method is one of the best ways to learn to play the violin and I am committed to helping every child succeed. As we work together as parent, child, and teacher, I know that we can foster success in violin that will positively impact your child in many areas of their life.

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, but moved to Arizona with my family in 2015 so my husband could attend physical therapy school. We have four children, Lincoln (7), Isaac (4), Eliza and Noah (one year old twins). I love reading, running, listening to music, and spending time with my family!

Please email me if you would like additional information. Thank you for your consideration!
