Alejandro Olson is a professional classical guitarist with a bachelor’s of music degree from the Schwob School of Music. He has competed in international guitar competitions and played concerts around the world.   His top prizes have been his 1st prize at Le Domaine Forget International Guitar Competition in Quebec, Canada, his 1st prize at the Grossmont Community Concert Association Competition in San Diego, CA, and his 1st prize at the American Protege International Music Competition at Carnegie Hall in New York, NY.  

Currently, Alejandro is studying at the Lamont School of Music in Denver, CO pursuing his master’s of music degree in classical guitar performance.  He actively teaches guitar and music lessons to students of all ages in the Denver area.  

In his spare time, Alejandro transcribes a variety of works for the classical guitar, piano, and the violin.  He debuts most of his works in his solo concerts or with his violin-guitar duo: the York Street Duo.
