Alan J. Amira

Alan J Amira holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music Education from Queens College CUNY.

Alan is a member of several orchestras in central New Jersey, currently playing in the Westminster Community Orchestra, principal cellist, Bravura Philharmonic and Sinfonietta Nova. Alan also plays chamber music with the Philadelphia Cello Society. Alan resides in the Princeton area where he maintains his private teaching studio.

Alan is a registered Suzuki Cello Teacher.  He has completed the Suzuki Association of the Americas recognized Long-Term Teacher Training Program, where he studied with international recognized lecturer and master Suzuki cello teacher, Pamela Devenport at the School for Strings in New York City. He is certified by the SAA in Cello Books 1-8.
