My Teaching Philosophy

As a violin teacher, I believe that with the right guidance, dedication and encouraging environment, each student, regardless of their level of playing, can develop necessary skills to play the instrument well and with joy.   I was lucky enough to study with great teachers both in Europe and in the U.S., and my goal is to share my music knowledge and experience with students that are eager and curious to learn music. Depending on a student’s interest and goals,  I tailor my teaching and curriculum to each student’s individual needs.

In my studio, I nurture my students’ love for music and enable them space to think, create and express themselves through music. Whether you are just a beginner or an advanced player looking to strengthen your skills, I am here to help you meet your goals.  As a certified Suzuki violin teacher in violin as well as as an active performer with a traditional European music background, I guide my students with practical yet effective methods on how to play with ease and expression.
