The Swedish Suzuki Association (Svenska Suzukiförbundet) in co-operation with Västerås School of the Arts (Västerås kulturskola) in Sweden is proud to offer the world’s first ever Suzuki Teacher Training for Trumpet Teachers: European Suzuki Association Level 1.

On October 15, 2011, the International Suzuki Association included trumpet as a Suzuki instrument. In March 2013 the European Suzuki Association (ESA) appointed Ann-Marie Sundberg to be ESA Suzuki Instructor on the trumpet, which gives the ESA the unique opportunity to offer the first ever Suzuki teacher training course for interested trumpet teachers.

During the academic year 2013-2014 the Swedish Suzuki Association in cooperation with the Västerås School of the Arts, in Sweden, will offer Suzuki teacher training in accordance with the requirements of the ESA Level 1 Suzuki teacher training standards.

The training course takes place at the Västerås School of the Arts (in Västerås, Sweden, approximately one hour’s drive from Stockholm Arlanda Airport).
