One Step at a Time

**Demetria Koninis, cellist, educator, performer and entrepreneur, has a dynamic Suzuki
cello studio and traditional cello studio. She teaches students ranging in age from 5 through adults at her Saratoga Springs, New York, location. Demetria is a teaching member of The Suzuki Association of the Americas and The Suzuki Association of the Captial District.
In addition to teaching, Demetria is one-half of Spa City Duo, which performs at weddings and events throughout the Capital Region, Saratoga, Lake George and beyond.  She and her violin-playing partner, Tania Susi, played on a newly released album “Awakenings” by pianist Andy Iorio. Demetria and Tania frequently perform live on stage with a Beatles cover band named Across the Pond. Visit the Spa City Duo Facebook page.
Demetria has trained with faculty at the Manhattan School of Music and Ithaca College. She performs weekly at Rita Grant’s yoga studio.
