SAA continues to grow its scholarship offerings each year. Scholarships are designated primarily for unit course trainings (Units 1–10) online and in-person. A limited number of scholarships are also available to support Suzuki teacher training through long-term SAA-approved university programs. For scholarships to attend courses in North America the application deadline is February 4 each year. Awards start at $300 and are paid to the course director or event sponsor.
The application process requires SAA membership, a video performance (as specified in the application), letters of recommendation, and a statement of need. For details and application forms for North American training courses, go to suzukiassociation.org/teachers/training/scholarship. For Latin American deadlines and application, go to suzukiassociation.org/teachers/training/scholarship-es.
