I would like to publicly thank Prof. Laurel Ann Maurer for sharing—with me and my Suzuki flute students—a wonderful day of teaching and music in Argentina.

Prof. Laurel Ann Maurer has shared generously with us her broad experience as a flutist and as a Suzuki Flute teacher in a workshop called “Jornada de Flauta Traversa Suzuki”. The meeting was held in the city of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina on Saturday 28th of March. Participants were the Suzuki flute Students from La Plata, level 1 and 2, and their families.

The students had individual lessons and a group lesson at the end of the day. The Suzuki flute families organized a coffee time after the lessons to exchange experiences and to get to know each other better. They enjoyed very much the possibility to speak with Prof. Maurer about Suzuki topics and musical experiences and they showed her gratitude for her teaching.

The meeting was a wonderful day, full of music, learning, musical games, new experiences and happiness.

My students and I want to give special thanks to Prof. Maurer and to the SAA for this wonderful possibility.
