Betty Wahlig

Mary Elizabeth (“Betty”) Wahlig holds a B.A. in Biology from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York, a M.A. in English from Alfred University and a PhD in English from State University of New York at Binghamton. Since 1969, she and her husband, John, a retired orthodontist, have resided in Corning, New York, where they have brought up six children. Betty has completed her term of service on the SAA Board of Directors and is a dedicated advocate of the Suzuki method of learning. She is an independent scholar in Medieval Studies and enjoys writing and travel.
