Holly Smardo

Holly Smardo completed her Master’s Degree in Suzuki Pedagogy at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville under the tutelage of Carol Smith, Kent Perry and John Kendall. Many of her students enjoy successful careers as both educators and performers throughout the country. An advocate for providing greater access to quality music programs, Ms. Smardo also served as the Director of Orchestras at Washington Junior High School in the Bentonville, Arkansas. Her 8th-grade orchestra was awarded the Sweepstakes Award at the Worlds of Fun Music Festival placing first out of 80+ bands and orchestras.

Holly lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas with her husband Buzz who has built a beautiful teaching space to serve the youngest Suzuki student as well as future Suzuki teachers.
