Rafael Videira

Dr. Rafael Videira holds degrees from the University of Oregon and University of New Mexico. He has had Suzuki training with Susan Kempter, Susan Baer, Betsy Stuen-Walker, Teri Einfeldt, William Preucil, Sr., and a workshop with the late John Kendall. His publications include articles, videos and method books with the American Suzuki Journal, SAA’s Parents as Partners Online, the Yost Family Trust, and the Alto & Treble Publications. A seasoned performer, he has played in many orchestras and has recorded under the direction of Kurt Masur and Helmuth Rilling. He currently teaches at the Suzuki Music Schools of Westport & Orange and conducts two of the ensembles of the Norwalk Youth Symphony, in Connecticut.
