Masayuki Oshima

Masayuki Oshima has been a Suzuki violin teacher since 1998. He started the violin at age five with the Talent Education Research Institute in Tokyo. After high school graduation, he came to the US and earned a BM in violin performance from the Conservatory of Music at Capital University (Columbus, OH). He holds MM degree in violin performance with an emphasis in Suzuki Pedagogy from Northern Arizona University, where he completed teacher training with Dr. Louise Scott and Ms. Karin Hallberg. He currently teaches the violin to students third through fifth grades at Pine Forest Charter School in Flagstaff, Arizona.
