Lisa Guttenberg

Lisa Guttenberg is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM) where she received a BM (’98) in Violin Performance and a MM (’00) in Violin Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy. At CIM, she was a student of Linda Cerone, David Russell, and Michele George. Lisa has also studied with Koji Toyoda at the Talent Education Institute in Japan. She has been a member of the faculty at the Preucil School of Music (2000-2005) and the University of Northern Iowa Suzuki School (2000-2003). She was Assistant Concertmaster of the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphony and also subbed with the Cedar Rapids Symphony. From 2006-2010, she lived and taught in Valencia, Spain and from 2010-2014, she taught at All Newton Music School and Winchester Community Music School. She returned to Iowa in 2014 and is currently the Assistant Director at the Preucil School of Music.
