Jennifer Diedrich

Jennifer Diedrich grew up in DeKalb, Illinois and was a student of Arthur Montzka from 1974—1984 and studied viola and chamber music with the Vemeer Quartet; While pursuing a degree in Human Development at the University of Nebraska, Jennifer continued to study piano and played violin in community orchestras. She played intercollegiate tennis and is a tennis teaching professional, as well. In 2002, she began training as a Suzuki violin teacher and helped develop Suzuki Strings of St Petersburg, Florida (www.suzukistringsstpete.com). Jennifer’s goals include maintaining a vibrant studio of violin, viola and piano students, hosting workshops and building a strong Suzuki community in Tampa Bay. In 2012, Jennifer began directing the summer Suzuki Institute, now the Florida Music Institute. Jennifer also plays violin with the Tampa Bay Symphony.
