Jennifer Diedrich

Jennifer Diedrich grew up in DeKalb, Illinois and was a student of Arthur Montzka from 1974—1984 and studied viola and chamber music with the Vemeer Quartet; While pursuing a degree in Human Development at the University of Nebraska, Jennifer continued to study piano and played violin in community orchestras. She played intercollegiate tennis and is a tennis teaching professional, as well. Since 2002, Suzuki Strings of St. Petersburg has served families in Tampa Bay. Jennifer’s goals include maintaining a vibrant studio of violin, viola and piano students, hosting workshops and building a strong community. From 2012 to 2019, Jennifer directed Florida’s summer Suzuki Institute, now the Florida Music Institute. In 2020, Rolando Freitag will direct the institute in Orlando, FL. Jennifer played violin for the Tampa Bay Symphony for 20 years under the leadership of Jack Heller.
