Jean Kountz

Jean Marshall Kountz is a piano instructor in the Philadelphia area. She has played the piano since the age of 3, but was first introduced to the Suzuki method when her sons were students. She has been teaching Suzuki piano for 11 years, following a 22 year career in public health. In 2017 she earned a certificate in Piano Pedagogy from West Chester University. Jean also enjoys composing and teaching composition. She serves as the immediate past-president of the Greater Philadelphia Suzuki Association.
