Irmi Miller

Irmi Miller (Ph.D. in Chemistry, 1990 Stuttgart, Germany) teaches Recorder with the Suzuki Method to young (3 years and older) and adult students in her private studio in Ames, Iowa. Growing up in Germany she studied Soprano, Alto, and Bass Recorders. Irmi has trained extensively with Katherine White at Summer Suzuki Institutes in the United States. She has also taken masterclasses with Cléa Galhano, Lisette Kielson, Patrick O’Malley and Marion Verbruggen. Irmi is the wife of Gordan J. Miller, professor of chemistry at ISU, and mother of three children, who have studied Suzuki Violin, Recorder and Piano.
