Ian Salmon

Ian Salmon has spent most of his life in the New York City and Greater Hudson Valley areas of New York. He began violin training at the age of six in a public elementary school. Ian attended Ithaca College and pursued a bachelor of music in education and performance. He is also a degreed Suzuki instructor, holding a Master of Music degree in Suzuki Pedagogy under the mentorship of Sanford Reuning. In 2010, he moved to Texas to begin teaching for the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD Suzuki in the Schools program. In 2014, he joined the faculty of the Suzuki Music Institute of Dallas.
