Carrie Grace Beisler

Living is Beirut, Lebanon, Carrie Beisler is founder and co-director of the American Lebanese Suzuki Talent Education Program. Founded in 2017 with co-director Tony Moussa, ALSTEP is the first Suzuki program developed in Lebanon. Carrie is passionate about expanding the Suzuki community with her work in Lebanon and loves the new experiences of teaching in a different culture. Her work with ALSTEP is committed to creating the opportunity of quality musical education for students across the world.
Carrie began her violin studies at age four with Nancy Lokken in Minneapolis, MN. She received a Masters of Music with a focus in Suzuki Pedagogy from The University of Minnesota and completed her Bachelor of Music from The University of Iowa. Carrie served on staff of the Colorado Suzuki Institute in Beaver Creek, CO for seven years and prior to moving to Lebanon she taught at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Suzuki Program.
