Carrie Grace Beisler

Carrie Beisler began her violin studies at age four with Nancy Lokken in the Augsburg College Suzuki Talent Education Program in Minneapolis. She received a Master of Music with a focus in Suzuki Pedagogy from The University of Minnesota studying with Professor Mark Bjork and completed her Bachelor of Music at The University of Iowa with Dr. Scott Conklin. Carrie’s Suzuki teacher training started in Iowa City, IA where she completed Suzuki Books 1-4 with Christie Felsing through the Preucil School of Music. She has continued her training at the American Suzuki Institute with Nancy Jackson, Alice Joy Lewis, and Carol Dallinger, as well as in her studies with Professor Mark Bjork at The University of Minnesota. For the last five summers, she has served on staff of the Colorado Suzuki Institute in Beaver Creek, CO. Carrie currently teaches violin and viola with the SIUE Suzuki program in Edwardsville, IL.
