Barbara Bianca Carvalho Soares

Bárbara Bianca Carvalho Soares is PhD student in Music Performance atUFMG, received a Master in Music, Violin Performance at the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco (Portugal), and Bachelor in Violin at the Amazonas State University (UEA). She has participated as a violinist in orchestras in Brazil, Portugal, and Italy, including the ESART Symphony Orchestra, Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra, and Elgar Quintet. She has been involved in the production of musical events, youth concerts, and independent chamber music concerts. She is currently a violinist of the Amazonas Philharmonic Orchestra, professor at the Amazonas State University, director of the Manaus International Chamber Music Festival (Encontro na Selva), partner of the Suzuki Amazonas Center, a social entrepreneur, and independent cultural producer.
