Adriana Sanchez Pazos

Adriana Sánchez—teacher and founder of the Suzuki Studio—Molto Cello. 

Originally from Montemorelos México, Adriana began her musical studies at the age of 4 attending the Conservatory of Music at the University of Montemorelos as a student of Elena Kolokolova in Piano, Anna Maklakiewicz, and Serguei Trush in Cello. During this time Ms. Sánchez played with theMontemorelos University Orchestra and participated as a guest cellist with the Youth Orchestra of Nuevo León, including international performances.

In 2008 Ms.Sánchez began her career as a cello teacher at the Conservatory of music at Montemorelos University. She then served as a cello and orchestral teacher at the American Institute of Monterrey San Pedro campus, where she is currently asupervisor for the Fine Arts department. As an advocate for social responsibility, Adriana has worked on bringing music out to the community in different scenarios including schools for students with disabilities. Joined by her students, Ms. Sáncheztook part in the 1st Suzuki Convention of the Americas as a presenter for the session “Suzuki method as a tool to develop perseverance in the face of frustration”.

Ms. Sánchez holds a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Montemorelos University and has done a clinical nutrition internship at the San Carlos Clinical Hospital in Madrid, Spain.In 2017 Adriana graduated from the University of Monterrey where she earned a master’s degree in Education.
