Renee Werenka

Renée Werenka started Suzuki piano lessons at the age of 4 and thus began a lifelong love of music. She received her BMus with great distinction while studying with Glen Montgomery at the University of Lethbridge. Her education also includes Suzuki Teacher Training and Kindermusik Educator Training.

Renée founded the Southern Alberta Suzuki Association in Lethbridge, Alberta and was President of the Association until she recently moved to Airdrie, Alberta. She has 16 years of private teaching experience, and is now also a Suzuki mom with children in Suzuki cello and Suzuki violin classes. This experience has broadened her knowledge and understanding of the method. Renée has a sincere belief in the value of music education following the Suzuki philosophy.
