Jillienne Bowers (violin/viola) earned her Bachelor of Music from Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, Maryland, studying with violinist, Charles Libove. She continued her studies at Boston University acquiring her Masters of Music under the direction of Raphael Druian. Subsequent teachers include Paul Kantor, Camilla Wicks, and Kirk Toth. She has been a core member of the Toledo Symphony Orchestra for the past twenty years. In addition to this, Jillienne is an advocate of early child music education and has certification in the Suzuki Pedagogy teaching privately well over 100 students. She is adjunct professor at Siena Heights University, as well as the director of the string department at Lenawee Christian Schools in Adrian, Michigan. She is currently working on her Post-Baccalaureate in music education from Eastern Michigan University.
