Malgosia Lis

Malgosia Lis earned Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy in Poland. She is the coordinator for the Suzuki Pianos at the Hartt School Community Division, the Hartt Suzuki Institute as well as the “Suzuki in the Dolomites”, Italy. Her training has been with Yasuko Joichi, Francoise Pierren, Doris Koppelman, Doris Harrel, and Mary Craig Powell. Malgosia is frequently invited as a clinician to Piano Workshops and Institutes, among them: Dallas Suzuki Piano Workshop, Queens College Piano Workshop, New England Suzuki Institute, Music Institute of Chicago and more. She performed at the Polish Library in Paris, France, where she had and honor to play on one of Chopin’s pianos. She enjoys performing music for multiple pianos. Malgosia lives in West Hartford with her husband and has three children, ages 27, 23, and 17.
