Suzuki Voice Program since 1986. During these 26 years we have participated 41 conferences, conventions and / or workshops. Suzuki Voice students have sung in 15 countries, and we have trained Suzuki Voice Teachers from 20 countries. We are very much looking forward to 16th Suzuki World Convention in Japan in 2013.

Dr.Päivi Kukkamäki is the founder of the Suzuki Voice Program, which she started 1986 in Finland with the support of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki and Waltraud Suzuki. She studied Suzuki-method in Japan Matsumoto Talent Education Institute 1986. Kukkamäki has a Doctor of Music Degree from Sibelius University 2003 and the highest degree in singing 1988. She is a chairperson of ISA and ESA Suzuki Voice Committee and a registered Suzuki Voice Teacher Trainer of ESA and SAA. Her teachers have been opera singers Jorma Hynninen, Raili Kostia, Birgit Nilsson.

Dr. Kukkamäki has given lectures, workshops, teacher training in 16 countries (Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin-America, USA), participated in 48 Conventions/workshops and trained Suzuki Voice Teachers from 22 countries. Her first SAA conference was in 1990. Kukkamäki has directed 10 opera/musical productions.
