We are hiring! Due to strong and consistent growth in the last few years, the Kansas City Suzuki Academy is expanding into new faculty positions for cello, viola, violin and piano. Interested parties, please send your resume to our Director, Alyssa Beckmann at alyssa@kcsuzukiacademy.com
New faculty will start in Summer or Fall 2025.
All serious applicants will be considered, but preference will be given to applicants with a Masters Degree or higher in their instrument of specialty, plus at least Books 1-4 of Suzuki training.
The Kansas City Suzuki Academy is under the umbrella of the non-profit organization Suzuki Arts Co. Our faculty members are paid above market rates for the Midwest and are paid as employees not independent contractors. We employ a wonderful team of teachers that education our thriving community of 125+ students in the Kansas City metropolitan area!
Duties:
Teaching private lessons and group classes, with the possibility of admin hours, leading chamber music or orchestra during the academic year, and SECE classes if applicable.
Qualifications:
All serious applicants will be considered, but preference will be given to applicants with a Masters Degree or higher in their instrument, plus at least Book 1-4 of Suzuki training.
Salary:
Based on hours and experience: full time, experienced faculty members can expect to earn over $50,000 annually.
