Valerie is a violinist and violist who has performed with the LA Philharmonic and is former Principal Violist of the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra and former member of the Santa Barbara Symphony. She received her BM from\r\nThe Curtis Institute of Music and MM from University of California, Santa Barbara. She did doctoral studies at University of California, Los Angeles.\r\nShe is Director of Strings and Chamber Music at Santa Barbara City College. Previously, Valerie taught Violin and Viola at Westmont College in Montecito, CA and Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ.\r\nFounder and Director of The Suzuki Violin School of Santa Barbara.
