Book 1 and Pre-Twinkle sets up 75% of the Foundational work of Cello playing.<\/p>\n

ECC is a required pre-requisite.<\/p>\n

The Requirements include: 2 book reports; 2 wrapups; 2 practicals which include playing the material for me from memory demonstrating the teaching points; and 15 hours of observation (online, outside of class). The practicals may be additional hours to class time, depending on enrollment. You will need a partner to demonstrate Pre-Twinkle setup.<\/p>\n

This year, the SAA is “highly encouraging, but not requiring, an audition for Unit 1 training in North America.” I highly encourage the audition now.<\/p>\n
