Would you like your institute listed in the American Suzuki Journal's preliminary 2025 institute list? Only a few simple steps are required: 

1. Activate your institute (instructions below)

2. Submit the details of your student event through the institute portal by the end of Monday, November 11th. 

The ASJ listing will include your institute name, city and state/province, dates, and URL. 

I've included all the details below about how to activate your institute. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if any questions or concerns pop up as you navigate the steps below. 

Here’s how to activate your institute: 

Visit your profile on the SAA website. You must be logged in with current Active Membership. 

Scroll down to Helpful Links. There, if you are listed as the Director or Co/Asst. Director of your institute, you’ll see a link that says: Activate (name of your institute). Click that link to begin the activation process. 

If you don’t have access, check with your team of institute administrators to see who has access, then write to me if you need access.  

On the Activate page, you can read and agree to the Institute Director agreement and pay the $120 USD institute fee. 

You’ll receive an email receipt confirming activation of your institute and payment of $120. 

If you already paid the $120 institute fee for 2025, please email me, and I'll confirm your next steps. 

Once your institute is activated, a link to the Institute Portal will be visible on your profile Under Helpful Links. Please click on the Institute Portal.

The Institute Portal is where you can submit student events and teacher workshops hosted by your institute. You can edit these events and edit information about your institute. 

Keep in mind as you submit Teacher Workshop events that you will have the option of having SAA collect tuition (or simply the SAA participation fees) when teachers join the roster on our site. This is optional, not required. If you have questions, call, text, or email me: 720-562-2955.

You'll also see a link to View All-Institute Course List. This is where all student and teacher institute events are listed.

For now, you can ignore the Learning Path link. This is a component in development for those who may wish to run student enrollment through the SAA. If you want to run student enrollment through the SAA, please let me know! 

If you submitted institute events before the portal launch, and you don't see your events listed, please resubmit them through the portal. Thank you! 

What's next? In the coming weeks, you'll be able to see each other's faculty, courses, and dates. I'll follow up with the approval process and begin approving institutes in November.

Remember in your planning that Teaching Strategies is a prerequisite for Unit 3, beginning January 1, 2025. 

The next scholarship deadline is December 1st for courses beginning Feb 1- May 31, 2025. 

Please take note of one additional qualification for scholarships: 

Les membres de l'ASA doivent suivre un cours pour la première fois et en tant que participant pour pouvoir bénéficier d'une bourse. Les audits et les cours répétés ne sont pas éligibles pour l'obtention d'une bourse.
