DESCRIPTION:Prerequisites: ECC and Violin or Viola Unit 1\, plus an audition \nSupplies needed: Suzuki Violin Volume 2 (book and recording) \nViolin Unit 2 includes performance of the repertoire\, supervised observation\, discussion\, and completion of assignments as given by the Teacher Trainer. In addition to the focus on Suzuki repertoire and instrumental technique\, Unit 2 may include other topics such as review and application of Suzuki philosophy\, parent involvement\, listening\, home practice\, private and group lesson formats\, learning styles\, learning by ear\, note- reading\, studio setup\, and other skills basic to the Suzuki approach. \nParticipants will be playing the repertoire in class and should know it to the point of fluent performance. \nYou must be logged in to your SAA account and have Active Membership to join the course roster below.  \nScroll down to the bottom of this page to the enrollment box\, click “+”\, then click “get tickets”.
